about the discontentment upon comparison we are wont to:

we will not help it

but gaze at each other.

and as long as one is taller, another shorter; one faster, the other slower; one happy, another sad; one wiser, the other less so- me a prick, you a dick

our gazes will entangle
our sight be warped

we will not see straight nor think likewise,

and when the gaze be cast upon ourselves again

we crumble at what should have been

although we know deep down there's only one truth, and infinite happiness.

"till we have faces- untill that aspect can be dug out of our empty talking heads and brought to light- we shall not oblige the gods to hear the ramble that we think we mean."

life is chance and choice. i should not be banishing myself from the duties toward the latter. i had my fair share of decadence. :)

its end march 2010,
and some things really have not changed; in fact they might have got better.

there are so many things that i m so utterly grateful for,

of which, simply being able to catch up over a coffee or waffle, that has truly has been the essence of this quick hol.

now, someone (guess who wrote a book) once told me,"jeremiah, you are appalling."

four years on, i think, and i'll say,"well yes, so i am."

that's the way i was/am, though may not be. such was the theme to my living. i left many things to cccur by chance

and wailed when they did not materialise.

but

tell me about it i have been so

so lucky.

many days have been to of no great importance.

fine, but

its about time to do something. something great. something substantial.

after all, we more often regret what we do not do, rather than what we have done.

so it's time to shape up a little! (easier to say ofcourse, but we'll have fun along the way!)

and what may be the fragments of a haiku have been drifting in my head the past week...

it goes something like:

under the sturdy tree
by the lonesome creek
three boys come.

wonder what that means...
